About me

I am located in beautiful Barnhartvale, Kamloops. I love hand building pottery combined with my endless ideas I am never running out of work. The creations are all handmade without using a pottery wheel. All of my creations are all designed and individually handcrafted by me, no one looks like the other and no one claims to be perfect, but that’s exactly what makes them one of a kind pieces with heart.

Originally from the Black Forest in Germany, I started doing pottery about 20 years ago in the garage of my neighbor and friend Marianne, she taught me a lot of hand crafted techniques. When we immigrated later to Paraguay in South America, I used my first own kiln which was challenging.

The next emigration brought us to Canada and now we call Barnhartvale, Kamloops in beautiful British Columbia home. Here a dream came true I got my own studio. I couldn’t be happier. Now with enough room to spread out I spend hours in my new domicile. I am inspired by the rural area with the farms, the lakes in the vicinity and I admire the native art. Attracted by so many things  I never know where to start. Have a look at my versatile work in my Gallery.

I started to join the local Craft Fairs in winter. I love it!
